xs400 from Belgium

Last sunday we rode to Belgium again, this time for Erkki's Amen Saviour based xs400 chop. I found out that the sandbags for the flash-light tripods are still not heavy enough... Need some serious heavy duty light-stands aarrghhh!!!

Tried some arty farty angles...

Low point view. look at the heat coming off the asphalt :-)

Look what I've got?

I've found a package in my mailbox, with a Twisted style fuel-tank in it! It's send by Mr. Anonymous....

Wilson II

There are some days that I come home and I'm really happy about the photo-session. Yesterday was such a day. We went to Belgium for this WilsonII S&S powered custombike. The location - a old mine - was really excellent.

The very hot and bright sun was up high today, and the sides of the bike were covered in shade, it's a grey/white bike! So there was too much dynamic range. Studiolights with shoot thru umbrella's are used to add light. And it came out wonderfull!

Nick's Sporty

I remember the day that I was 19 years young and my father made me a soft looking Cm450 chopper. I was the king of the world! Nick, living in the northern regions of the Netherlands, is just 18 freakin' years young and he build himself a rigid Sportster chop which looks t*ts!! Can you believe that? I wonder what this bloke is building in ten years...

I needed some light because I had to shoot against the sun to have that nice background. There was some wind this day, but luckily these guys helped me out :-) thanks!!

Harleydag Arnhem

Some pics of Harleydag Arnhem 2009. You can find some words about it in the new Bigtwin magazine. It was a nice day, good weather, nice people and last but not least some nice bluesrock on stage.
