Fire Fighters Nijmegen

I was asked to shoot a photo for a promotional poster of the Fire Fighters in Nijmegen. I've never shot something like this before and wasn't sure about how it would turn out. Though, it looked like a fun job to do. :-)

The editor of the poster wanted a photo with extreme lightning and a dark blue sky. Something I do with motorcycles sometimes. Though, I soon found out that a fire-truck plus three guys is something really different!

After the photo's were done, we tried this action shot just for fun. I think it's the best shot after all. This is what came out!

1928 Rosengart Spider

Mr. Velthuis senior & his Rosengart Spider. He overhauled the French-made car himself (let's say: sort of built from scratch!) and it turns out to be a one-off race-car from 1928. Some quick & dirty snapshots near the house.

We did a photoshoot of Kustombart's Van a few months ago. One of the shots ended up on the back of a pro skateboard-deck in the USA!! (site of Utility Board Supply)

Green Machine

KustomBart, the guy who painted my bikes, has a real early eighties survivor: a big Dodge with special paint. He restored it and gave the paintjob a little bit of his own touch.














Ah, that's where KustomBart got his inspiration!














We reproduced some old photo's as this Green Machine in the eighties was on the cover of a magazine. To give it a eighties look, I shot this photo with a full CTO gel on the flasher and the altered the white balance to change the colour of the sky. First time try, but looks cool :-)
